Monolith

"This shard of rock, which I believe is quartzite, was found on rocky slabs near Lakit Lake. It is virtually covered with lichen on what was the exposed surface. It’s unusual, in my local wanderings, to find such a thin and yet tall piece of stone. I continue to be intrigued by these natural pieces of art."
