Fir Vessel

"This bowl was shaped from a fragment of fir found on the rocky benches near Lakit Lake. Numerous branches had been growing out of this piece of burled wood. I’ve left most of them to add to the sense of flow and form. I’ve fitted a copper leg for balance and to add color and surface. The interior of the vessel has been finished with mineral oil after sanding.”
