"In this Mini Wildlife Series, I have explored some of the mark making that I was introduced to by Veronica Funk in a Portrait Class that I took at Cranbrook Arts in March of 2024. I am surprised at how calming an effect the process has on me. Some of the tools that I have incorporated in my mark making in this series included stencils, lace, birch bark, posca pen scribbles, as well as dropping and blotting acrylic paint on the canvas. Such fun!"
