Keith Powell

Keith Powell is a lifelong resident of the East Kootenay. He lives in Cranbrook and has a keen interest in local history and the many stories of the Kootenay region. Published through his publishing company, Wild Horse Creek Press, “Abandoned Kootenays” and “Forgotten Kimberley” are his seventh and eighth books. He has authored and published six other books including: Koocanusa Burning; Forgotten Cranbrook; In the Shadow of Elephants; Raising Kain, the Adventurous Life of Conrad Kain; Fisher Peak Chronicles; and Living in the Shadow of Fisher Peak.
